Book Club
All are invited to join the POP Book Club! We meet the second Wednesday of each month at 10:00am in the church Gathering Place. This is a judgement-free zone, so if you have not read the current book or started it but didn’t finish, you are still welcome 🙂
So come and hang out with some women who love books!
Here are our upcoming reads:
On September 13 we will discuss Good Night Irene by Luis Alberto Urrea. “In the tradition of The Nightingale and Transcription, this is a searing epic based on the magnificent and true story of courageous Red Cross women.”
Our October book will be Remarkably Bright Creatures, by Shelby Van Pelt. “For fans of A Man Called Ove, a charming, witty and compulsively readable exploration of friendship, reckoning, and hope that traces a widow’s unlikely connection with a giant Pacific octopus.”
